The flicker of the lit candle holds my attention while he prepared. The tiny fire sways with the faint puff of air I blow at it, an excited dance in a pool of purple wax. As the wax melts, I inhale the wonderful smell of lavendar. I pick up the candle from the table top. Tall and thick, the pillar of wax is a bit on the heavy side. I tilt the candle a little, curious to see some wax drip. I do this above my left forearm so as not to make a mess on the table. Drops fall and splatter, accompanied by a slight burning sensation.

“I’m ready for you.” He says, placing a hand on my shoulder. The other hand reaches out and takes the candle from me. The candle is set back down on the table. “I see you’ve already started playing without me.”

“Sorry, couldn’t help it.” I say sheepishly.

He then takes my arm and starts to pick at the hardened wax. His fingers stroke my soft skin as the wax is removed. He stares me down while his hands are at work, his expression is cool and authoritative. His eyes catch the flicker of the lit candle and in the reflection, I see warmth and excitement. I not only see it but feel it too, as he moves forward to kiss me. The sway and dance of the flame is now inside me. A pool of wetness starts to form between my legs.
